About Karis

As a nurturing caregiver with two years of experience, I find great joy in supporting families and making a positive impact on children's lives. My calm and friendly demeanor allows me to connect easily with children of all ages. I have experience caring for children aged 4 to 11, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. My educational background includes coursework in early childhood development, while also in school for elementary education which has equipped me with knowledge of age-appropriate activities and strategies to promote learning and growth. I enjoy engaging children in outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I believe in open and respectful communication with parents and follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm also somewhat comfortable enforcing household rules and ensuring a safe and structured environment for the children in my care.
