I am a registered nurse with over 25 years experience and extensive senior care experience. I want to help others and go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and make a difference. I have worked in home health and also as a case manager for a several years during my career. I have a lot of knowledge with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and Alzheimer's/dementia. I have also dealt with Alzheimer's/Dementia first hand with my Dad. I will provide compassionate and quality care for you or your loved ones, that not only includes experienced nursing care but also help completing everyday tasks that goes into keeping a home and living a quality life. I work with another family part time, however, they give me my schedule a month in advance which is very helpful. I can share my schedule with you if that's helpful. When we got the first phone call from Karisa, I was so impressed at her kind & caring attitude that came through in her voice & how she expressed herself. She asked my husband & me a few questions about our schedule and then offered some dates & times for the first appointment. The moment I opened my front door, I knew we had someone special standing there & that the right home health nurse had been sent to care for Dan. She is patient and kind. She explains things so well when she is caring for her patient. She answered many questions that we had & if she didn't know, she said so and got back to us the next day. She is very thorough and really goes above and beyond in her amazing care. My husband and I always looked forward to her visits and knew that she could make things better for us. She was also a wonderful liaison between us and Dan's doctors. She could get information a lot quicker than we could! Thank you again Karisa for the wonderful and excellent help you gave Dan & me through the most difficult time of our lives. Miss your smiling face so much!
