About Karisa

I believe there is nothing more important than intentionally making sure that someone feels truly seen, heard, and that they matter. It's hard to give up control as one gets older, which is why I believe encouraging autonomy in the things they CAN control, and respecting direction in the things they can no longer do, is imperative . I am skilled at placing gentle yet firm boundaries keeping the health of my client the priority . Respect, empathy and anticipating needs is at the core of my care philosophy.
