After becoming a mom, I realized how much I truly enjoy children - watching them grow and helping them learn. So, after the birth of my third son, I was inspired to complete my degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. I would describe myself as friendly and creative. With little ones, I think it is important to provide developmentally appropriate activities that will encourage growth and exploration. I enjoy crafts, games, songs, stories, and exploring nature. I would like to work with a family that encourages adventures and fun, both at home and out in the community. While I have worked with many families to provide in-home childcare, I also have experience working as a Developmental Therapist in the State of Illinois' Early Intervention program, teaching early childhood classes for a local park district, and leading a homeschool co-op group for toddlers. I am CPR/First Aid certified.
