About Karin

I am a nurse practitioner with many years of experience as a childcare provider. During nursing school, I was a nanny for two children [ages 8 + 10], and my role was primarily to help them with homework, make light meals, and keep them engaged while their mom was busy. I also have nine nieces and nephews, so I have lots of experience with various age groups. I am happy to provide regular updates to parents about their child's day, either verbally or through text or phone calls, depending on their preference. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment. I enjoy a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I am also quite comfortable with pets. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I can accommodate almost any daytime or early evening job with just a bit of advanced notice. As a licensed person, I am certified in First Aid and CPR.
