I am currently a kindergarten/ 1st grade special-ed assistant teacher who always puts safety and care above all else. Surprisingly, there are many skills that transfer over from working with young children to working with the elderly. I support independence and autonomy when appropriate (and safe) as lifestyle changes happen though the natural phase of aging.
