About Karina

I am a college student enrolled at UTC with a major in Education . Along with with teaching I have a passion for helping children grow and learn is what motivates me each day. My calm, creative, and friendly nature allows me to connect easily with children and create a nurturing environment. I'll keep parents updated on their child's day and any issues that arise through daily written reports or by following their preferred communication method. I believe in following the parents' lead when enforcing household rules to ensure consistency for the children. From outdoor games to board games and educational activities, I love playing and engaging with children in various ways. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I have an associate degree from Chattanooga State. I also have a car, am comfortable with pets, and only speak English.
