About Karina

As a caregiver, I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. My 11 years of experience have taught me the importance of patience and creativity, and my friendly nature makes me approachable to children of all ages. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children between the ages of 0 and 11, and my bilingual skills in English and Spanish allow me to communicate with a diverse range of families. I believe that open communication is key in childcare, so I provide regular updates to parents via their preferred method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup or text messages throughout the day. I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules and prioritize safety by having current First Aid Training and CPR Training. My approach to childcare involves a mix of outdoor activities, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision.
