I grew up volunteering in special Olympics and working with kids with Autism, as my mother was a special education teacher. After high school I started volunteering with kids with special needs to play sports at the recreation center in my community and got a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on biology. I then became a certified special education teacher in Texas and taught elementary for three years. I have attended many autism and ADHD trainings and seminars required by school districts and specialized in early childhood education.
