About Karina

Hello everyone! I am a rising sophomore at Marist College, and I adore working with children. I have worked with children since 2014. My experience began as an assistant coach at Xtreme Cheer when I was 14 with children ages 7-14 (2014-2015). I was able to teach the girls new skills and help strengthen their routine, as well as their confidence. Every summer since, I've worked at various camps including Saint Matthew's Bible Camp (2016, 2017), Lauralton Hall Summer Camp (2017), and Long Ridge Camp (2018, 2019). At Long Ridge, I was an assistant counselor to first grade girls in 2018, and the camp Dance Specialist in 2019. I saw children ages 3-14 throughout the day and was in charge of creating engaging lessons and activities that catered to each age group. With COVID canceling the 2020 camp season, I'm available Monday through Friday.
