I have acquired many years of life experiences supporting both elders and individuals with disabilities. Some of my most meaningful experiences include working with elders in two newly opened affordable housing independent living apartment communities, being a PCA through Care. com for a young man with mental illness, and parenting an adult daughter with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In the fall of 2018 I moved from Minnesota to the Des Moines area, and began working with seniors, often as a member of a caregiving team. In the spring of 2020 I received my End of Life Doula training and I also offer restorative coaching for family members.
