My father, turning 90, had a sudden and dramatic failing of his health. Kari was there for our family in every way, including emotionally supporting my mother who was struggling to get the care my dad needed, in a health care system that consistently fails patients and their loved ones. Kari was instrumental in making sure my dad was able to come back home and pass peacefully at home per his wishes. Her care is all encompassing, 24/7. This is a difficult role, and although I worked in healthcare for 30 years, she is at the top of my list. It is impossible to overstate the gift she was to us, and I don't know what would have happened without her.
