Hi my name is karie, I am a single mom of an amazing 14-year-old son with autism whom I've had on my own since he was 3.. I've worked in Daycare's , rehabilitation centers, Alzheimer's facilities and the most recent, transportation for special needs with ccisd.. I've taken care of children of most walks of life and to me they are all special and my kids ( on my bus) all hold very special places in my heart.. yes there have been some challenges but it was nothing that a little patience and teamwork didn't fix.. I have had to handle seizures and behaviors etc. I was trained in the EpiPen although never had to use it. I believe that every child deserves love and respect and I tell my son all the time and autism is his superpower and he is my hero...

She called within 20 min.. she could tell that I had kind of a different situation I needed to be in the ER for an infected surgical incision and that left me no time to find anybody and I was going to be there at least 24 hours my son and never stayed away from me unless it was with my parents who at this point in aged choose not to have him overnight because of his ASD and turning 13.. I was desperate I have the doctors calling me we've already made it from Galveston to League City where are you we're waiting with a team and scared to death I posted on here and most people course of the short-term they couldn't do it that day or what not and Karie called me on my phone we didn't even discuss the money at this time she said let me pack a bag and send me your address and. Be there in 20 min. I had never done this and then I went back and read she had a 13 year old boys on Spectrum she was a bus aide in the school district that he has attended for 10 years she is Family Now
