I grew up in England. Trained as a nanny at 19 years old. I have been a nanny for 37 years, working with families with children ranging from newborn to teenagers. Most jobs I was there for at least 2 years, the longest one was 10 years. Working as a nanny has been a very rewarding experience. I have helped a lot of children through their milestones, it is very satisfying to know that you are a part of that! I love to be outdoors with the children, going to the park, zoo, swimming... etc! I get very attached to the families I work for, so when it is time to move on it is very sad.. that has to be the worst part of my job. I have my own 17-year-old daughter & being a nanny has given me loads of experience to be a parent.

Karen is simply the greatest caregiver in the world! She was our nanny for nearly 10 years, and we were lucky every day to have her caring for our 2 children. She is kind, smart, thoughtful, honest, professional, always on time. In the time that Karen worked with us, she became like family - our children love her and felt safe and loved in her care, and she treated them as she would her own. Karen is extremely detail-oriented and never misses a beat with any childcare-related task or schedule. She is incredibly in-tune with children's needs and was aware of every nuance of our kids' personalities and needs. She was engaged with the children every moment she was with them, always with their best interests in mind. As a busy working mom working long hours, Karen enabled me to work without worry or distraction, as I always knew the kids were in sure and capable hands. She is simply the best!!!
