About Karen

I've always been passionate about nurturing the growth and development of children, which is why I make a great Nanny. I raised two happy, successful children, one with Autism who now is going onto graduate school and works in urban planning. My daughter is a biology major, environmental activist and research intern for the USDA. They tell me I am the world's greatest Mom so I suppose that's the best endorsement I could have! I have lots of experience caring for children of various ages and can easily handle up to five kids at a time. I used to own an art gallery where I held after shcool craft classes for kids ages 5-12. They were wildly popular. I made paper mache' pottery, sculptures, birdhouses and paintings for 30-40 kids at a time. I was a kids soccer coach, Sunday shcool teacher and babysitter at various points in my life. I foster an environment of learning and respect for nature. I'm fun and energetic. I've got you covered!
