Karen is a very experienced caretaker and she helped our toddler learn new skills (new words, going up and down the stairs, gaining more independence and confidence). She loves working with toddlers and she helps them build independence and confidence, which was so valuable for our 1-year-old toddler. Karen is very calm and it helped her manage our toddler’s separation anxiety. She also helped him express himself and his needs which speeded up his language development. I felt very confident about leaving my child with Karen - and our toddler was so happy with her even in the very first time we left him alone with her. Karen knows a lot about developmental psychology and she applies her knowledge to help and guide parents in the collaborative effort to teach their child new skills. I would highly recommend her to any family!
