About Karen

I'd describe my personality as funny, kind, open. I'm looking for a job that I can find a family to grow with into the future. My experience and desire to work with kids came early in my life. My Mothers daycare over the years had over 350 kids go through her care. I grew up knowing and practicing how to care for kids and that is when I fell in love with it. Throughout high school I was the most indemand babysitter. I graduated college and had a son who was born in 1997. He is now an Eagle Scout as well as an Army Soldier. I led his boy scout troop for 13 years and participated on the leadership level once he aged out at 18. This part of his life in scouts was the most exciting for us together. Whatever the age group I choose to pursue it will be equally exciting. I do however have a soft spot for infants as well as toddlers. Guiding the younger kids and teaching so many aspects of life is my ultimate reward.
