About Karen

I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages and genders. I have worked as a teacher at a private preschool teaching art, science and health. I also worked with birth to teenagers at my church and was the lead in the children's department for 8 years. Most of these things were accomplished while I was rearing my three daughters. I am a clean, organized and responsible person. I believe that children thrive and are secure when they are on schedules, thus I put an emphasis on routines, however, I am flexible when needed. I like to incorporate activities that are fun as well as help build sensory, cognitive, and motor skills, such as reading, music, art, puzzles, and much more - all that would be age appropriate. Not only am I a caregiver, I can also help with errands, light housekeeping and meal plan/shop/prep. I am an active person and enjoy showing children the positive sides of life.
