About Karen

DATE NIGHT BABYSITTER beginning January 2024! I often talk about planting seeds, seeing what takes, and fostering those gifts. I've been working with children since I was 11, and nannying full time professionally since January 2010. The foundation of life has become a passion of mine and am humbled by each child I've worked with, who shows me the world through their eyes. Beyond the milestones and the teaching and the hugs and so many diapers, I am privileged and grateful to be a guide to curiosity and exploration, a sense of safety, a listener. My skills surround everything child care related from diaper changing to sleep training, overseeing proper physical and cognitive development as well as nutrition and organization. I am the Snoo, the sound machine, the slow release of a hand as your child drifts to sleep. A constant song, an encouraging whisper, and the finder of all birds and squirrels. My style is a combination of Montessori, gentle parenting, and deep breaths.
