My passion started in high school through Best Buddies [a mentorship program for those with IDD], Adam's camp [an overnight camp for children and adults with special needs], and Challenger baseball and continued in college through caretaking and my continued work with Best Buddies. I have ADHD and have had to learn how to work with my brain and through this process developed a passion for slowing down to meet those with disabilities where they are at. I aim to work collaboratively with them to help them build the skills that will help them achieve their dreams. Through nine years of experience working with adults and children with disabilities, I work with patience, care, and a gentle energy. I feel that I have something to learn from the way every being I work with experiences the world. I celebrate the beauty of difference. I have a degree in performing arts and social justice [dance] and am passionate about accessible creative expression opportunities that promote inclusion
