About Karen

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, understanding, and trustworthy, I have a good ear for listening & will do my best to take action with any concerns of a client. I'm looking for a job that allows me to reenter the workforce after it was necessary for me to take time off for my own medical needs. I have gone through bilateral knee replacements. My passion for caring for others began at the age of 14 years. My 1st job was as a Candy Striper at Caldwell Hospital. I have had jobs in other fields throughout the years. But many times, I volunteered my time & and stepped in to help various families & friends during times of need. I then focused on in-home caregiving & eventually reenter school & obtained my CNA, and began working in a nursing home facility.
