Hi, I'm Karen, I look forward to helping you w/your little one(s). I started off working in the church nursery at a young age, & then church families hired me to watch their children in their homes. I went to college/studied child development/early education, and worked at a couple of day care/Learning centers in the area I was living at the time. I helped my sister with her 5 children (who all call me their 2nd mom), I also took care of my mother (who has dementia)... I know, she's not a child, but very much like a child ( I'm comfortable with someone being dependent on me/giving medicine, etc). I'm CPR/first aid certified, Article 9 & have my level 1 fingerprint security clearance. I'm employed by an agency that provides in home care for special needs children & young adults (I can make/change my schedule, work as much/little as I want, & I'm looking to work closer to home since I moved. I've worked w/kids of all stages & ages.
