Hello, My name is Karen. I have a heart for people in need of help/assistance/support. Quite a few years ago, I worked with adult individuals with Special Needs teaching them Independent Living Skills, Job Coached, and Socialization. It was very rewarding and, of course, challenging at times. I enjoyed the two years I worked for CDP. I have also taken care of my aging parents, who have now passed. I have raised 3 children who are all grown and on their own. I have been told having a heart to help others is a gift, so at this time in my life, I would like to use the gifts God has given me in doing so. I am an empty nester, so I have more open availability than some. I noticed some jobs on here ask that one has a college degree. I had 1. 5 years of college but do not have a degree. My driving record is great. I have no criminal background.
