About Karen

I am friendly, caring and works well children and adults. I have worked in the field in Special Education as a teacher and school administrator for 24 years. I consider working with children a rewarding and exciting experience. I have raised three grown daughters, (all who are passionate caring people with advanced degrees). For the last 18 months I have been a grandmother and have been thrilled by the opportunity to contribute (with hands on experience), to the cultivation of my grandson's physical, emotional and cognitive growth. I recognize and embrace diversity in individuals, which begins at "newborn". I am creative, energetic, funny and fun-loving, empathetic, adaptable, fast thinking and loves music and the outdoors . Safety always comes first. Then fun, exploration/learning, the cultivation of creativity, curiosity, feelings of well-being and accomplishments will follow.
