About Karen

I began working as a part time Nanny in 2018, caring for an infant and a part time pre-schooler, helping a family transition from maternity leave to Mom's return to part time work. My next family needed part time care during the later Covid months. My flexibility and their participation in snack time each day made us a great team for their 3 and 5-year-olds. In early 2023, I had the opportunity to provide primary care to two newborns. As time permitted, I also interacted with the older girls, aged 3 and 5. I was a live-in Nanny for 7 months. Prior to working as a Nanny, I was a Nursery Staff member at my church, a Children's Choir Director at church, and a volunteer/leader with my son's sports teams. Officially, I have an Elementary Teaching Credential and have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd grade for both the regular school year and summer school.
