I have been working with deaf and hard of hearing children for over 15 years. I have knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL). I have a Master's degree in Deaf Education. I was an elementary teacher for the deaf in public schools. I have also worked with deaf and hard of hearing preschoolers. For me to be passionate in what I do is to be a role model for a deaf or hard of hearing child, to believe he or she can do it! I will be able to communicate with your child and understand him or her. I am currently teaching 2 elementary school Deaf boys to improve their signing skills. Life coaching a young Deaf lady. I have worked with a Deaf and Autistic lady as a Life Coach for 3 years. Teaching and assisting her with independent living skills, transported her to job training, doctor appointments and doing shopping errands with her. Also I interpret in ASL for her. I have a recommendation posted on here. CPR/First aid certified 4/2021

Karen has worked for me for about three years. I have a deaf and autistic daughter 28 years old who lives with me. I am a single father,. My wife died of breast cancer in 2010. Karen was one of two people who provided care but more important training in life skills for my daughter. My daughter liked and responded to Karen very well. She not only helped her to learn how to do chores but how to take care of her body functions. Karen supplied her own car to go shopping with my daughter. Karen is completely trustworthy and honest.
