I was a stay at home Mom for my two daughters 7 years until my youngest started school full-time to ensure proper care and training. My girls are now young educated adult women functioning well in this society. Those years I spent with them was well worth it as it really paid off. Years before having my children, I worked as an Activity Worker/Occupational Therapist in a nursing home. I was assigned to 30 patients on my floor of Seniors in Assisted Living. I enjoyed communicating with the Seniors ensuring they received daily Reality Orientation, chatting, grooming, charted/reported change in behavior and organizing care and assistance ensuring patient's dignity. The same love, care and patience I gave to my daughters in their most vulnerable time in life will be given to you and your loved one. If I am granted many more years in life and or find I need assistance, I hope I would find someone like me who genuinely cares.

Karen has been a great caregiver for our 95 year old mom in assisted living. She brings a bright smile and a genuinely caring heart along with taking creative initiative to engage Mom with activities Mom enjoys - hair styling, makeup, nails, etc. She plays crossword puzzles with her, has gone on walks and has brought treats to eat. Her ongoing communication with us has been outstanding as she leaves notes as well as texting and talking on the phone as needed. After a relatively short period of time, Mom loves her and we feel she is a part of the family. Highly recommended - after she is no longer needed by Mom!
