I'd describe my personality as empathetic, attentive and thorough. I like jobs that afford me the chance to engage in interpersonal interactions because I consider this a precious opportunity to have a positive impact on individuals in such a vulnerable stage of life. Offering care and geriatric companionship brings such a light to my life and is a welcome and healthy distraction from my everyday concerns and I embrace my interactions with the elderly intentionally and purposefully.

I hired Karen as a last resort for my grandma who absolutely refused to go to a nursing home despite not having any family in California who could care for her. Karen has brought so much more than companionship to her in the past few months. Asides running errands and meal preparation for my Nan, she has managed to build a genuine special connection with her despite Nan being very reserved and introverted. She is great at communicating with me about needs my Nan has and observations regarding her health and improvements she has made and I love her honesty and punctuality above all. My Nan loves Karen reading to her and they watch shows together all the time and even have their little inside jokes and I am very grateful that we hired her. I feel like my Nan could not be in better hands despite us not being in the same city with her. I would highly recommend Karen for any person looking for elderly care, companionship or supervision for their loved ones.
