About Karen

My name is Karen and I am a 27-year-old graduate student at Fresno state in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and also work part time with the department of services for students with disabilities. If attention, safety, caution, empathy, kindness and physical strength are top on your list qualities in whom you would like to care for you or your beloved elderly, then I am just the right fit for you. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, attentive and thorough. I like jobs that afford me the chance to engage in interpersonal interactions because I consider this a precious opportunity to have a positive impact on individuals in such a vulnerable stage of life. Offering care and geriatric companionship brings such a light to my life and is a welcome and healthy distraction from my everyday concerns and I embrace my interactions with the elderly intentionally and purposefully.
