Hello! My name is Karen and I currently live in Hatboro, PA. My education includes a Bachelor of Business Admin. from Temple University and Associate of Science from Harcum College. I began my career with the Department of Defense after graduating from Temple. I was volunteering within the community assisting seniors, which sparked my passion to pursue full time work in a related field. I then received my Associate of Science and became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. I worked with the geriatric population in long/short term rehab facilities -my most recent full time position also included Assistant Director of Rehab in a skilled nursing facility. I'm passionate about working with the geriatric population for the companionship and relationships that I thoroughly enjoy. I have experience with feeding, bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility; as well as cognitive impairments and dementia.

Karen is currently helping me care for my 91 year old mom on hospice with some dementia. Karen is nothing short of amazing! She is kind, caring, smart and empathetic of her patients needs, both physical and emotional. She is always on time. Karen is dependable and always offers to help in any way possible, even on her off time if needed. Karen brings a warm, loving, calming and angelic presence into any room she enters. She taught me many techniques about patients care I would have never thought of. She told me things to tell and ask the hospice nurse to make sure my mom had the most comfort possible. My mom and entire family absolutely love her. We will be forever grateful to Karen for her exceptional skills and compassion. I had to let go of numerous big chain company care takers. Who I learned were unsympathetic, to say the least, when I watched back the videos of how they treated my mom when I was not there. I can't recommend Karen enough. You would be more than lucky to have Karen's expertise. You'd be blessed.
