I have over 30 years experience as a Social Worker, primarily in community based social service and mental health agencies in Philly. For the past few years, I have been working per-diem in a variety of non social work positions (sub teacher, para-professional, aide) in the school district of Phila in order to have short days and summer's off. During the Pandemic I began babysitting for people in my social circle around my neighborhood in Mt. Airy. I surprisingly found it to always be a positive experience and maybe part of my pre-retirement career. So, I created an account here and see if anyone in my area could use a sitter now and then. I thoroughly enjoy the energy of children, and am up for taking children to the park, zoo, aquarium.. I have experience with children with a variety special needs. I also love going to the movies, and would happily take your child/children/mom/grandpa to a movie for an outing,,, I am also available to take seniors to doctor visits..
