Up to date on my CPR certification for adults and children (including infants). Over a decade of experience nannying, I do exceptionally well with children from ages newborn and up. Non-smoker, I don't drink alcohol, great with dogs, safe driver, have my own transportation. Growing up with 8 nieces/ nephews, 5 of which I nannied 15-30 hours a week through high school/college, I am well equipped to handle any situation. I worked at a YMCA day care part time during college. Most recently, I worked at a pediatric office for the past 2. 5 years, we saw kids from just a few days old to teenagers on a daily basis. Comfortable with housework/cleaning, I enjoy staying busy when little ones are down for a nap. Skilled cook/baker, I can whip up a quick, healthy meal or yummy snack for your family. I love teaching, engaging with, and caring for kids. I believe in playing pretend, having fun while learning, and limiting screens to a minimum.

I was nervous to find care for my new miracle baby... but Karen made me feel instantly comfortable from that first meeting, to seeing her with my little one in my home, and the connection that she has with both myself and the baby has been very comforting. Karen takes excellent care of my little one and she also takes care of my needs as well. I work from home, and she has made me snacks, and lunches and ensures I have plenty to drink, and has helped with laundry and dishes too! I feel spoiled when she comes over to take care of both of us lol. She even offered to stay later so that I could get a nap, which I wouldn't have thought of to even ask. Doing this without family nearby has been hard, but Karen has been a godsend into my life. She truly cares for my tiny little baby and I love when she sings and speaks to him in Spanish exposing him to a bilingual environment. She has made my return to working full time a much smoother experience and knowing that my child is safe and well cared for makes it easier for me to focus on my work.
