About Karen

My name is Karen. I have over 20 years of experience working with children. I've been a preschool teacher for several years, a nanny to twins from birth to kindergarten, a child therapist for children with behavioral issues, and a regular sitter for many families for over 20 years now. I combined my two passions of psychology and working with children and I got a degree in child psychology. I can do crafts, read stories, play games with older children, play with toys with younger children, play outside or any other activity requested. I have 1 nephew, 4 nieces and another niece on the way, due in May! I have raised my oldest niece and nephew since birth. My niece is 14 now and my nephew is almost 13. Being an Auntie is my greatest joy in the world! Oh, and I have a playful Pekingese named Wolfie and a very loyal and protective Boxer named Zeus.
