I have been working with kids(general education and special education) since 2017 as a substitute for student attendants and instructional assistant at CVESD. Then in 2020, I became a Coach at YMCA during the pandemic. After the pandemic, I became a site substitute teacher at an elementary, where I worked with kids from kindergarten all the way to 6th Grade. Overall I have experience with a wide range of kid's personalities, and I have adapted successfully. My personality has supported my 8 year journey, by being patient, understanding, creative, and a good listener. I enjoy seeing kid's growth to the point of soon becoming a Special Education teacher. Karen is a fenomenal caregiver!! The times that I’ve had the opportunity to work with her have been of immense support. She is a skilled loving teacher that has a natural maternal way of working with kiddos. Karen has a way to make others comfortable and her bubbly personality keeps kids engaged. In other words she’s a blessing in disguise.
