About Kara

I bring my best listening, attention, curiosity, love of life stories and years of caregiving experience to you or your loved ones. I originally trained as a CNA to care for my Grandmother at the end of her life. I then cared for my sweet Mom the last years of her life as her decline from Dementia required her to have 24 hour care. I have had the tremendous privilege of accompanying elders on their sacred ground journeys; some through hospice, others through the crisis of illness, others still active and participating in life with changed abilities. Caregiving is a special relationship. Trust, respect, exquisite attention, deep listening, the ability to adapt to changes and a sense of humor are skills I bring to you.
