About Kara

I like working with kids because they have so much excitement to learn and enjoy experiences everyday! There is so much joy and playfulness that just opens my eyes to realize how amazing life truly is. Children have very different personalities, likes, dislikes, and abilities that as a caregiver I can help bring out or harness if need be(per parenting style). I know every child is different and understanding that I believe gives them confidence. I'm looking for a job that I have great communication with parents and trust I will give the best care without worry. I started working with kids at 13. In my spare time, I spend time and creating experiences with my nieces and nephews. I enjoy going to restaurants with interesting cuisine, antiquing with my grandmothers, I enjoy decorating my home for each holiday/ season, and loving my dogs. One thing you should know about me is I am very very into safety. My skills include being interactive, compassionate, and understanding.
