About Kara

Hello! My name is Kara. I've had a lot of experience helping with children throughout my life. I volunteer at an elementary school in my free time, working with kids K-6. My mom used to do nannying and respite care and I often got to come along with her where I learned a lot from watching her. Additionally, I help take care of my two younger siblings (4 and 15 years old) and young cousins. I also have several cats and dogs so I am comfortable with pets! I'm interested in childcare because I know that I work well with kids and can be a good influence in their lives! I am used to taking on responsibility as the oldest child in my family. Additionally, I have been trusted in various leadership positions in my high schools theatre program these past few years, most recently serving as their President. I now attend CGCC and work part time, but have a pretty flexible schedule during weekdays. I hope to make connections with families and be helpful in whatever ways I can assist you!
