I'm Kara! I graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. I served five and a half years in the Navy, ultimately leaving to pursue my passions. I currently work as an ice hockey coach for ages 4-18 and am pursuing my Master of Arts in Teaching for Secondary Mathematics. I specialize in math and science because I truly believe that these subjects should be FUN! How cool is this world around us?! Math and science give us the keys to discovery, and there's so much discovering left to do. I am comfortable with all math up through calculus and high school sciences. I have experience teaching language arts as well. I have a toddler son, who will need to come along with me to tutoring sessions. I understand this is not ideal for every client as I will not always be able to offer my undivided attention. I completely understand and respect your decision to seek a different tutor based on my restrictions.
