About Kara

I'd describe my personality as bubbly and kind. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I'm also a big peacemaker and thrive on cooperation and communication. I like working with kids because I love how their brains work and I love fostering their creativity and imagination. I've taught kids many things but they've also taught me just as much! I started working with kids when I was in highschool and continued throughout college. Post-college I worked as a preschool teacher in a daycare and am now currently creating and implementing preschool programs at my current job. In my spare time, I like to do art related activities like drawing, painting, and crafting. I also enjoy baking a lot, my favorite thing to make is cupcakes! I like playing video games with my friends and spending time with my family and my two cats. My skills include fostering good communication skills, teaching to express big emotions in a healthy way, and creating fun ways to learn new things!
