About Kara

I have over 12 years of paid babysitting experience, babysitting for a wide variety of families (both long-term and short-term with date nights and such). The majority of my experience is with children ages 1. 5-7 years old, although I do have experience caring for infants and older kids as well. I've taken Child Development and Early Childhood Education courses, as well as worked in a preschool environment. I know that I have a wide knowledge base for caring for children and allowing them to thrive and reach their potential. I also have my basic life support certification with CPR and AED, so I know how to respond in emergency situations. I love when I find a family that I can click with and feel like a member of it myself, I've found that the kids love that as well. I enjoy being active and outdoors, but playing games and doing arts and crafts indoors can also be a fun way to spend time.
