About Kara

Hello families of San Diego! My name is Kara and I'm currently a student at SDSU studying to become an elementary school teacher with a focus in mathematics. I'm both CPR/First Aid certified and I drive my own car. Most of my working experience is with toddlers ~1 to 3 yo but I have experience nannying infants and working in a classroom/after school program caring for large groups of school aged children as well. I prefer a screen-free environment and enjoy planning structured and learning-based play. I also enjoy walks to the park (pups are welcome to come!) and if you're comfortable, outings to the library or the aquarium!
