Hey! I'm a non-smoker and CPR certified. I've got 2 years of diverse childcare experience. I did babysitting for a year, making sure kids were safe and having fun. In the summer of 2023, I volunteered at an elementary school in Ghana, working with kindergarten and 1st grade kids. It was an amazing experience! I also spent a year at the YMCA, supervising and mentoring 7th graders during summer camp and working with 1st graders and kindergarteners during the school year. We recently had the pleasure of having Kanyiti watch our three sons, ages 5, 7, and 9, while my husband and I enjoyed a much-needed date night in Chicago. From the moment she arrived, Kanyiti was professional, friendly, and engaging with our kids. She quickly made a connection with them, and they warmed up to her immediately. Kanyiti did an excellent job keeping the kids entertained, even with a range of ages and energy levels. She was proactive, organized, and communicated with us throughout the evening to let us know everything was going smoothly. The boys had a blast, and when we returned, they were all happily telling us stories about the fun activities she had planned. It was clear that Kanyiti is responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. We felt completely at ease leaving our sons in her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable babysitter.
