I started caring for people with special needs 4 years ago. I was a teacher aid for the special needs department, and I helped prepare crafts, and I would break off into smaller groups to make sure that the teaching materials were being understood and to help anyone if needed. I knew that this is what I wanted to do in life. So I became a board certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and have been one for 6 months now. I enjoy caring for people with special needs, and taking caking of children because it's my passion. It genuinely makes me so happy to know that I'm making a difference in children's life by helping them, and giving them tools to navigate through the world. I enjoy seeing the joy in the child's face, whenever we're doing an activity that they enjoy, but also learning something new at the same time. It's a very beautiful experience for the child and I. In my spare time, I LOVE to go outside and be with nature. Anything to do with outside, I love it.
