Hello! My earliest memories involve the families my Mom nannied for. As soon as I was able to, I wanted to help out. I began babysitting at 12 and teaching swim at 16. Summers between pursing my degree in Musical Theater, I taught at First Stage Theater Academy in Milwaukee, WI where I am from. During the COVID-19 pandemic I began nannying full time due to the shut down of the theater industry. I continued nannying full time in addition to acting as well as being a Family Manager/Mother's Helper when I relocated to Raleigh, NC in 2021. These days, I divide my time fairly evenly between theater, teaching, and childcare. Working with children is simply one of my passions! I use my knowledge of theater to encourage creative play. Experience with children newborn-early teen, I also have training to work with children on the autism spectrum. I pride myself on being responsible, fun, hardworking, and nurturing.

Kamilah is THE BEST. I know some families say that after a few experiences but she has been with my family for years and it is the absolute truth. I have been through my fair share of nannies and she tops them all. I have 3 kids 7, 5 and 3 and I trust her with them completely. My middle child is especially challenging, he will bulldoze all other nannies and she is the only one that has him under control. It is amazing. She is assertive, proactive, always on time and cares deeply for the kids she works with. Whatever family snags her up is the luckiest out there, seriously, she isn’t just a unicorn she is THE unicorn. Full praise and high recommendations all around from this family!!
