About Kali

Hello! I am new to care. com! My name is Kali and I am 25 years old! I am childcare professional with a degree in Child Development and 9 years of experience working with children. I'm currently taking a gap year before starting my teaching credential program and am excited to use this time to work as a child care taker. In addition to my degree, I have volunteer experience at an elementary school and youth center, experience in teaching swim lessons and was previously with a family for 5 years until they began school. Some of my favorite activities I love to do with kids is go to the beach, swim, ski trips, outdoor/nature walks, visit science centers (Peter and Mary muth center in Newport back bay is my fav!) and basically anything that involves the outdoors. With my experience, I've learned how important it is to create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel encouraged to learn and explore.
