Hi! My name is Kalisha. I grew up in a small town in Nebraska and have formed many close, yet, long lasting relationships with families and kids whom I have been grateful to care for. I have worked as a Lifeguard, which in return, was able to spend an enormous amount of time around kids and even adults. I have a great sense of responsibility and feel that the best way to use it is by caring for others, whether they be young or old. I have also been able to mentor a third grade class. While doing so, I know I was a role model for many of those kids and they truly had an impact on me. I have always enjoyed spending time with children and greatly admire being able to set a good example for them knowing how much they look up to my generation. I not only enjoy being around kids, but I love being able to do what I can for the elderly or disabled. No matter the age of the person I always find myself walking away learning from my experiences and building lasting and meaning relationships.
