About Kalie

Hello! My name is Kalie, I am a graduate student from the University of Iowa. I am in the Des Moines area completing my internship in child life at Blank Children's Hospital. I have multiple years of experience caring for kids of all ages and ability levels. I was a nanny through my undergraduate years and had multiple other families I would babysit for on a regular basis. I worked at Stead Family Children's hospital for 3 years (I spent 10 hours per week in the NICU providing developmentally appropriate stimulation to infants) and spent 3 years working in an autism classroom. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am looking for random evening or weekend opportunities! Due to my internship, my hours will fluctuate frequently. I love kids and I am willing to help with anything around the house along with watch pets and kids!! I am in the DSM area until the end of April!
