Hi there, I'm Kaley! I'm a doctoral student at the University of Florida in the Occupational Therapy Program. I want to eventually specialize in pediatrics, given that I love kids. I have my Bachelor's in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University (graduated May 2020). Individuals with special needs have been a part of my life since middle school when I got involved in Best Buddies. In 2019, I worked at a camp for children with severe pediatric illnesses called Camp Boggy Creek as a cabin counselor. I worked with children with cancer, epilepsy, sickle cell anemia, heart conditions, spina bifida, etc. As an occupational therapy student, I feel like I have the adequate knowledge and skills to work with individuals with special needs. I'm young and energetic, but also patient and empathetic. If needed, I can help with some light housework. I'm looking for a part-time position during weekdays (Monday-Thursday).
