About Kaleigh

Hello! My name is Kaleigh and I moved to Philadelphia in 2021. I will be starting medical school in summer 2024 and am available for evening hours and weekends. For the past few years, my day jobs have centered around clinical research (at CHOP and at a local FQHC). I also spent time nannying for a toddler while studying for the MCAT. Previously, I worked with various nonprofits in the Bay Area, including farm education and engagement programming, community food security, and operations for a social justice organization. I am the oldest of five children and have many years of childcare experience in various settings, including working as a family assistant for a busy family in California, entertaining children during family-style dinners in college, and leading farm education field trips as well as programming for school-age children. I firmly believe that exploration, play and creative thinking, as well as nurturing a sense of wonder, are necessary to a healthy and vibrant childhood.
