About Kai

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient, and adventurous! I like working with kids because they offer a perspective on life that we often forget as adults. Their curiosity and imagination inspires me to change my worldview and be optimistic about possibility! I started working with kids when I recognized that the need for childcare in my own personal community was lacking. I started off working with parents as a full spectrum doula and expanded my services once I realized the need for care did not stop at parents. In my spare time, I like to write and spend time in my neighborhood with my friends. Having a friend group of predominantly creatives, we often exchange ideas and work together to see our ideas come into fruition. My skills include empathy, patience, and communication. I have learned that children are most fulfilled when they feel they are understood and I have worked on these attributes to better be of service to parent and child.
