About Kaity

I recently just got home from taking care of my elderly grandmother who I lived with full time. She had Dementia and Brain Cancer which is always a struggle but I loved being able to keep her smiling even when it felt gloomy. I helped her in and out of bed. I took her to shower and made sure she was dressed for the day. I made her meals and ran to the store or restaurants to fetch her food. I helped her with her TV and played games with her when she was feeling up to it. I helped her to and from the bathroom and helped where needed. I made sure her medication was given on time and she didn't need anything and stayed in a room across the hall from her in case she needed me. When it got really bad I reassured her she was loved and cared for; and of course it was not easy to see her like that, but I wanted to make her as happy as possible.
